Remarks on the release of Chapter 84
"Alas! Stupid coding machine, what should you write?"

"What do you want to write?"

This was what I thought before I started the book.

Let me first talk about something that everyone is concerned about, the explosive update that is on the shelves today.

I really don’t want to be like this. I don’t have any manuscripts saved and I’m not a full-time author. This is an exaggeration!

But thank you all for reading this book.

There are no rules for voting or the number of first subscriptions. To keep it simple, five updates are just a thank you to the readers who can see this for their support.

And then it's the same old tune again.

Thank you to the editor, thank you to the readers, thank you for correcting errors, thank you for tipping, thank you for collecting, and thank you for voting.

  Might be a little formulaic.

However, the words above are all typed by myself, and I express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart. Everyone should be able to feel my fiery heart. Right?
Finally, there are the rules for adding updates: [This does not exist.

If you don’t change your original intention, you are lazy...

What I mean is: two updates a day is better than stability.

  Just let it happen.

In fact, this problem is still the same as before-the relationship between readers and me cannot be mistaken.

Some people read what I write, and some people are happy to read it. Then readers are happy and can subscribe and vote. That would be great.

But if readers are required to vote first, give rewards first, and make various contributions, then I will add updates in return.

Well, at least in my mind, this is putting the cart before the horse.

My first goal is to write interesting stories, which is 'writing stories' itself.

Making money is just a lucky thing you can get from writing stories.

If you treat this as a money-making tool, the process will distort the purpose. That is terrible, very terrible, and very scary!
Of course, this is just a family opinion, to make you laugh.

  【↑】The launch speech is over.

The following is a rant, I suggest you skip it. 【↓】

  Story! story! story!

There is only one important point in a good novel, and that is the story.

From the last book to this one, I have been trying to hone my abilities in this area. Although there is little progress, a little gain is enough to make me happy.

In the original plan, this book was intended to learn the cool writing methods of online novels, and the main plot focused on the process of killing monsters and upgrading.

But after I tried to write a beginning, I found that I was not suitable for this kind of thing at all. If you force yourself to write something you can't write, you are just wasting your own time and amusing the readers.

So I stopped it in time and added my favorite elements [games] into the book.

  It's much better this way.

What else do I want to write about next?

I wanted to write about Lindsay's adventures and the process of acquiring abilities. What will be the consequences of acquiring this ability? What will he use this power to override, and what will he do?
He won't simply defeat a powerful enemy and save the world.

At the same time, there are also choices when facing various conflicts in the world, and the responsibility that comes with power.

And if power is responsibility, then to whom is it accountable?

Is it your own heart or your moral model in the current situation.

Of course, the above is all joking.

With my current writing ability, it would be a bit of a fantasy to write such a story.

But people just have to challenge themselves.

If what you are doing is not difficult at all, it would be a bit boring.

Let’s talk a little bit more about the storytelling of this book.

I have been reading online articles since I was very young, probably in elementary school, and I have never stopped reading them since 2000.

  The undeniable fact is.

Time moves and the types of novels people like change. I told my stupid self that not only reality, but also the world in the story and the world created by the writers, everything is changing with this change. The past was different from today.

What I like doesn't mean what people like now.

But if you want to exercise your ability to create stories and write words that touch people, what kind of novel should you write?

A traditional, fantastic and true story.

This will give up some of the shocking superficial excitement, and there will be many places that are not so enjoyable. Moreover, if it is placed in an online novel, it will definitely lose a large number of readers, because this kind of story is bound to lack the strong appeal at the beginning.

But I still follow my original intention to create, and I need to practice my ability to write stories.

So even if you’re not going to be popular, let’s start writing.

And this kind of book may not be impossible to write well.

Maybe not many, but there will always be people who like it, right?
The anxious pace of life, rapid changes in moral concepts and psychological factors make people prefer fireworks that bloom quickly, just like the rise of short videos on video websites is expelling the territory of long videos.

But some things are destined to remain the same.

Here is a quote from one of my favorite authors:

"This is disturbing. No matter how much we love the brilliant impermanence, the charming twinkling neon lights, we still long for things that don't change. We cherish the old stories of permanence: King Arthur is forever buried. Dreaming about Avalon; Bilbo can go "there and back", and "there" is always the cherished and familiar Shire; Don Quixote sets out to assassinate the windmill..." I also want to try it in my own

book Find some constancy, some ancient truth, some immutable law.

Maybe the neon of the online world has flooded people's lives.

Many people watch videos and read novels, seeking more inner joy in fantasy worlds under heavy pressure, so as to avoid being continuously oppressed by reality.

  Some people say:
"Oh, no one will read your novel like this. Today's readers simply can't stand it."

But I think what people can accept is far beyond what those people imagine.

What suffocates people is half-baked, imitation, false imitation, things that are specious.

There are many excellent online novel authors who have proven this.

What people can look for in books does not just stop at some simple superficial stimulation. The future and endless possibilities, the vast world of knowledge and imagination, should belong to readers, and they should also belong to the future of the novel world.

I also hope that I can achieve such a future.

  Sigh...

he said a lot of incomprehensible things out of nowhere.

This is probably just my own imagination. Perhaps more readers are completely different from what I imagined. This is just a bizarre fantasy made by a delusional person. The development direction of online novels is that the author does everything possible to stimulate the readers' emotions in exchange for value.

  Anyway, that’s it for now.

It may be slow, but I will keep moving forward at my own pace, and this will never change.

  October 6, 2023.

  A stupid coding machine.

  ………………

  Ah

, by the way, there is something I forgot to mention.

The chapters after the release will not have any particularly explosive plots, and will continue according to the rhythm. The story here is just the beginning. Readers who are worried that there will be a particularly drastic change in the plot after it is released can rest assured here and do not need to rush to subscribe.

If someone really likes the story I write.

Time and people's attitudes will tell me, not money.

  …………

  Huh!
Considering the current network environment, let’s stack up again!
All the above remarks are my own narrow thoughts, and I have no intention of teaching others to write books.

For many people who chase the trend, write novels that are more in line with the current trend, and make a lot of money.

  I am also very supportive!
I am also poor, I also like money, and I want that too.

It’s just that I don’t have the ability, so it’s useless!

So I had no choice but to shed tears of envy and jealousy in a dark corner.
